The young DJ known as DJ Cor E had a residency at a well-known club before he could legally have a drink. Starting out as a bedroom DJ for many years spinning nothing but breaks and inspired by DJs like Icey, James Zabiela, Baby Anne, Crystal Method and Plump DJs, Cor E quickly found that break beats are not at the top of the list for favorite genres of music in Mpls. Starting out at a Minneapolis top 40 club paved the way for this young DJ to be known and respected by his fellow djs and clubgoers alike. One Top 40 club turned into another and when a good friend gave Cor E the opportunity to play his first underground party here in Minneapolis, the rest was history.
With the majority of electronic music in Minneapols being house, DJ Cor E has brought a different flavor to the scene that is described as very dirty and somewhat electro. With his innate ability to read the crowd to perfection and provide what ever genre necessary, you will not be disappointed when he steps to the decks. When he is tearing up the wheels you never know what sound is right around the corner, with the element of surprise being his niche he will keep you moving and wondering what’s next. His obvious love for the music infects the crowd with such high energy no one can resist the temptation to get on the floor and join the party.
Without break beats, DJ Cor E would be in the dark but you can find him around town playing at multiple venues, spinning not only breaks but some hip hop and a little bit of house as well. DJ Cor E was also voted Top Twin Cities Club DJ of 2005 by local clubgoers and members of Twincitiesnightclubs.com. DJ Cor E will continue playing his heart out and will be at a venue near you soon!
